PAY ONLINE and IVR


We have partnered with Nexbillpay to extend an additional payment option for customers interested in using their check, debit card or credit card to pay their bill. Nexbillpay is a trusted third-party automated payment service that allows you to pay your bill online.


  • What is a service fee?

Nexbillpay charges a small service fee to cover payment handling and all processing charges. Service fee will be calculated and disclosed prior to finishing your payment.


  • Does Fall River Utility District keep any part of the service fee?

Fall River Utility District does not keep any part of the Nexbillpay service fee.Nexbillpay is a separate entity providing a service ​for all the customers of Fall River Utility District.


  • How do I use this service?

Customers will need the following to pay their bill:​​

  1. The account number (located on your billing statement).
  2. Your payment method: check, debit card or credit card.



THE FALL RIVER ROAD UTILITY DISTRICT MAKES EVERY EFFORT TO ENSURE THAT OUR CUSTOMERS ENJOY A CONTINUOUS SUPPLY OF SAFE DRINKING WATER.  WE APPRECIATE THE HELP OF OUR CUSTOMERS TO MAINTAIN THE QUALITY OF OUR WATER SUPPLY.

  • ANY PAYMENTS MADE AFTER 4:00 PM ON THE 25TH OF EACH MONTH MUSTINCLUDE THE $50.00 SERVICE FEE
  • ONLINE PAYMENTS MADE AFTER 4 PM WILL NOT BE CREDITED TO YOUR ACCOUNT UNTIL THE FOLLOWING BUSINESS DAY. 
  • THE FALL RIVER ROAD UTILITY DISTRICT IS NOT AFFILIATED WITH THE DOXO PAYMENT SYSTEM.  IF YOU CHOOSE TO PAY WITH THIS METHOD, YOUR PAYMENT COULD TAKE UP TO 30 DAYS TO POST.​​

OBTAINING UTILITY SERVICE BY FRAUD IS UNLAWFUL


It is Unlawful to obtain or attempt to obtain by use of any fraudulent scheme, device, means or method, electric, sanitary sewer, water, or gas service, with intent to avoid payment of the lawful price, charge or toll therefore, or for any person to cause another to avoid such payment for such service, or for any person to assist another in avoiding payment for electric, sanitary sewer, water, or gas service, either through the making of multiple applications for service at one (1) address, or otherwise.  TCA 65-35-102 (3)


Also any person violating the provisions of TCA 65-35-102 is liable civilly for damages resulting from such violation, including actual, compensatory, incidental and punitive damages.  The damages shall be three (3) times the utility's estimated loss of revenue, plus reasonable attorney's fees and costs associated with such loss.
